The Cell …

Each sister has a room, known as a cell, where we sleep, pray and study. Life and prayer in the cell is an essential element in our vocation.

We regard our cell as the place where the Holy Spirit will reveal to us the mysteries of God and where the compassion and love of the Saviour will find us.

In the solitude of the cell, the tradition of the early desert monasticism as well as Carmelite influence on our life can be seen.

“Sit in your cell and your cell will teach you everything.”
