Our daily life is in many ways quite ordinary. But if you look at our typical timetable you’ll notice that we spend a lot of time at prayer and worship. This is because we regard these as our main work.
Like anyone else, we need to cook and clean, tend the garden, pay our bills. We need to spend time discussing our priorities and how we put them into practice. In the pages that follow, there’s a glimpse of some of the main things we spend time on.
There’s no mention of watching television or going out: it’s not that we never do them, but it is an exception for most of us.

“All that I aim to do is reduced to one
word only, and that word is love.”
Thomas Ken. 1637-1711
